To connect or not to connect

I love the fact that we now have the ability to work from almost anywhere. I can pretty much send email and write all my posts and notes and even schedule tweets straight from my phone. It’s minimal tech so long as I can connect to a network.

Put your phone away

This is the first time in many years, that I’ve been able to leave my phone away somewhere and not need to check it for urgent issues.

One of ArtSpotter’s rules was to put your phone away. You don’t need it to just observe, listen and think. You don’t need it to have an emotion. And some things are even better when the whole world doesn’t know about them.

This time I can make the mindful decision as to when I want to connect or when I can just laze in the sun and take in the surrounding French countryside.
